With November being Adoption Awareness month, Calvary's Open Arms Ministry will be hosting a Community Wide Candle Light Prayer Vigil for orphans, foster care & adoption on Friday, November 21st at 7pm at Calvary Church at 3998 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters.

Why pray? Prayer is needed for the 143 million orphans in today's world with the numbers increasing with one new orphan every 18 seconds. There are over 500,000 hurting children in our foster system that feel their is no hope for them. So many waiting children & families that are hurting because adoptions are taking so much longer. Care givers and case workers who dedicate their lives to so many children that are over worked and never hear the words "thank you".
